CSS-1 / SS1 : A slow setting emulsion used for Prime coat
RS-1 : A quick or rapid setting emulsion used for Tack coat
MS: A medium setting emulsion used for coarse & clean aggregate
Coldmix Binder (Type SS-2 or tailor-made as per IRC-SP100): A slow setting emulsion used for plant mixes or road mixes with graded fine aggregate in OGPC, SDBC, MSS, BM, DBM and BC
Our emulsions are manufactured by milling a sizeable quantity of bitumen into microscopic particles and dispersing them in water using a chemical emulsifier. The viscosity of these products ranges from low to high and are used in applications like Prime Coat, Tack Coat, Fog Seal etc. These emulsions are strictly manufactured as per the specification of IS: 8887-2004 and ASTM D-2397.
Highland PowerMix Binder is a specially designed bitumen emulsion with high binder content and certain performance additives like anti-stripping agents. With moderate viscosity and optimized setting time, these binders provide hassle-free workability and best mixing stability with wide variety of graded aggregate. Our binders are strictly manufactured following the specification of IS: 8887-2004 and IRC: SP: 100-2014. These are especially suited for premix carpeting as well as premix seal coat applications by a suitable device like concrete mixture or modified hot mix plant.
Our Cold Mix technology is the field application of mix-design based tailor-made binders with the available IRC recommended aggregates through modified HMP plant or site mixing. It is the entire value chain of the technology from laboratory mix designs, supply of tailor made cold mix binder and overseeing the entire mixing, laying & rolling activities through technical support and supervision services to build durable roads meeting IRC: SP:100: 2014 specifications
Blown bitumen grades or Oxidized Bitumen are produced by passing air through the penetration grades asphalt flux. This process gives the bitumen more rubbery properties than its original formula and they are simply harder bitumen. With an objective to fulfill the demands of our clients, we are engaged in processing a wide array of Oxidized bitumen and Mastic Asphalt. High mechanical strength and stain resistance quality of these products makes this first choice of our customers.
Some of the major advantages of Oxidized Bitumen are that it is chemically very stable, completely water resistant, highly flexible and durable.
