Highland PowerMix emulsions should be stored like water, i.e. above freezing (0°C) and below boiling (100°C), usually between 15°C and 60°C. The barrels can be stored in conventional godown or open space, away from direct sunlight and maintaining not more than 2 layers stack.
8 months from the date of manufacturing (when kept in air-tight barrels). Tightly closed, part-used barrels should be used within a month preferably.
There is no fire, safety or health hazard associated with Bitumen Emulsion. It is, however, advised that the product is used in well-ventilated areas, and prolonged exposure to the fumes avoided. Repeated or prolonged skin exposure should be avoided. With zero carbon emission and zero pollution, this is 100% Environment Friendly product.
